Can I use my Globe gift card at the Rosemont General Store?
No. While the Globe is owned by the same family/company, we operate on two independent systems. This means that gift cards are not interchangeable, however our gift cards never expire so they can be used after we reopen.

I’ve been craving a dish from the Globe. Can I order it at the Rosemont General Store?
Yes, we can take custom orders. Depending on the dish, the lead time may vary. We can usually accommodate requests with a minimum of 48 hours. In some cases, it may take longer, but if you give us a 7-day lead time anything is possible.

Will the Rosemont General Store be adding tables inside?
No. We will currently only provide table seating at our patio and picnic areas. Due to limited space, we are not confident that there would be sufficient room for social distancing. The safety of our staff, customers and community remains our top priority.

When with the Rosemont General Store add table seating inside?
As the weather changes, we will explore the possibility moving some table seating inside.

How can I order catering?
We offer a quick guide with some catering options that require 72 hours notice for preparation. One of our staff will be happy to help you. We can also accommodate more customized catering options.

Will the Globe be opening now that Stage 3 has been announced?
No, the Globe will not be opening at this time.

Why isn’t the Globe opening?
There are many factors to consider in order to ensure the safety of our staff, customers and community, such as:
  • Dishes and dish washing practices
  • Glasses, glass washing and bar practices
  • Ability to practice social distancing
  • Bathroom limitations
  • High contact touch points

With the limitations of the Globe layout and size, we are not confident that opening at this time can be done safely, while maintaining our quality of service.

When will the Globe reopen?
We hope to open by the fall/winter holiday season, but we may adjust as the situation changes. Please keep an eye on our social media channels, where we will continue to post the most up-to-date information.
